With the addition of Dr. Keaveney to our staff, Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health will now be providing services in the area of neuropsychological exams, ImPACT testing for concussion management, and consultation and education services related to neurological conditions and issues.
Dr. Julie Keaveney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University. Dr. Keaveney served on active duty in the Air Force for 10 years during which she completed her postdoctoral fellowship training in neuropsychology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Keaveney specializes in clinical neuropsychological evaluations of adolescents and adults across the life span. She has extensive experience working with individuals who have a wide variety of neurological conditions including but not limited to: brain injury (traumatic and acquired brain injuries, concussions, etc.), stroke, dementia, epilepsy, tumor, multiple sclerosis, learning disabilities, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and psychiatric disorders.
