Aimee McFarlan earned her undergraduate degree in Literature with a Black American Studies minor from the University of Delaware in 1992.  Always socially conscious and interested in helping others, she decided to pursue a career in behavioral health through the completion of the Master's in Social Work program at Delaware State University. Aimee gained her initial experience in behavioral health during ten years at an inpatient setting peforming assessments and intake services.
 
Aimee works with children/adolescents over the age of 12, adults, couples, and families.  She is comfortable working with a wide range of behavioral health issues including anxiety/panic disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, and pre/post partum depression. Aimee utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions including stress reduction, relaxation exercises, mindfulness, limit setting, and communication skill building.
