General FAQ

1. Generally, how long will it take for me to get an appointment?

It depends on the services you are looking to schedule an appointment for. Generally, we can get you in for the initial intake appointment within a week.

2. What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours prior to the client’s appointment in order to avoid charges.

3. Will there be a charge for a missed appointment?

Yes, there will be a $50 fee for missed therapy sessions, and the charge may up to $150 for missed psychiatry appointments. Clients are encouraged to reschedule their appointment at least 24 hours prior if they will not be able to make it.

4. Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?

Yes, we accept Medicare and Medicaid for the state of Delaware.

5. Do you provide court ordered evaluations or counseling?

Yes, we do offer both court ordered evaluations and counseling. However, most court ordered evaluations and services are not paid for by insurance.

6. Do you see children under 5 years old?

While some providers will provide therapy for children under the age of 5, we do not provide medication for children under 5 years old.

7. What are your hours?

All three of our locations are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our Newark- Chapel St. location is also open Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

8. What will I have to pay?

The cost you will have to pay depends on the services being rendered and rates negotiated by your insurance.

9. Will my insurance cover psychotherapy?

This depends on your insurance. We will be able to run a preliminary check over the phone and give you an estimate. However, it is your responsibility to find out your insurance benefits.
