Jocelyn Sagrati, LCSW, CYT
Prior to working with MABH, Jocelyn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and completed a master of social work degree from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She began her counseling career at SOAR, Inc. in Wilmington, DE, where she offered therapeutic support to individuals recovering from sexual abuse and assault. Her most recent experience was working as a therapist in mental health intensive outpatient and psychiatric partial hospitalization programs for Main Line Health.
Jocelyn’s clinical focus centers on integrative wellness and mind-body healing. She is a certified yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at the Trauma Center at JRI in Massachusetts. Jocelyn is a certified facilitator of Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, an evidenced-based adjunct therapy that aids in reducing nervous system arousal and intrusive symptoms of PTSD.
Jocelyn specializes in working with of all ages who are coping with a variety of concerns, including trauma and loss, anxiety, physical and emotional stress, women’s issues, life-stage transitions, and self-esteem, relationship, parenting, and family concerns. Jocelyn incorporates elements of mindfulness and positive psychology into therapy sessions. She also uses experiential techniques such as MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction), guided imagery and somatic resourcing to help clients manage symptoms, foster self-awareness, and build the resiliency they need to navigate life changes
