JoLynn Bitler, LPCMH
JoLynn has been a counselor for 10 years. She obtained a bachelors in arts degree in Human Services at Springfield College. In 2012 she graduated with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. JoLynn understands that it can be an intimidating process to choose a therapist that is right for you. As a counselor for several years, her motto is that if you are not a good fit together than she will help you find a therapist that meets your needs. She has worked well with many individuals from all walks of life who are dealing with stressors in their lives from substance abuse, grief from death and loss from relationships falling apart, jobs and dreams that just didn't come true. These events can cause unwanted feelings of self-doubt, shame, anxiety, depression, loneliness, insecurity and anger. JoLynn also helped people who have experienced trauma and physical, emotional and sexual abuse.
JoLynn’s counseling style is warm, sincere, empathetic yet humorous and engaging. She will utilize an eclectic background of approaches such as solution-focused, cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. Whatever the approach, she will strive to adjust the dialogue and treatment plan to meet your goals and specific needs
